This college is owned and managed by St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Cathedral Manarcad. The college situated on the serene hilltop – Mary Giri – was established in1981. His Holiness Ignatious Zakka Ivas I, Prince Patriarch of Antioch and all the East laid the foundation of the main building of the college on 26 February 1982. This First Grade College, affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University offers Undergraduate courses in English (copy editor), History (Archaeology and Museology), Physics (Applied Electronics), Chemistry, Zoology and Commerce (B. Com-Computer Applications) and Postgraduate courses in Chemistry, Zoology, Physics & Commerce. The College also has a research center in Zoology and a research laboratory with advanced facilities for studies and research on leptospirosis, rodent pest management and small mammal diversity.  

Very Rev Kuriakose Cor Episcopa Karukayil is elected for 2023 as manager/chairman of this college.

Electronics, Draughtsman, Civil, Fitter, Welder, Fashion technology Mechanic – Motor Vehicle, Mechanics-electronics Mechanic – Diesel & Survey. We conduct All India Trade Tests and awarding National Trade Certificates from NCVT (The National Council for Vocational Training). The Council has been entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing standards and curricula for craftsmen training, advising the Government of India on the overall policy and programs.
